Remaking Images
Photography has many faces. Sometimes it’s a pragmatic recording tool, documenting existing conditions as a basis of design. Sometimes it’s a way to record the places I’ve been and the beauty and culture I’ve seen, and I try to make the perfect image. But at other times it’s a source of images to be manipulated. These images were recreated in photoshop, allowing the filters to dissect images and remake them into something new. This particular filter reshapes the image as something akin to a wood block print. It’s somewhat random, and often I don’t know what i will get.
